This has a been a long three years in fashion school ~ but it seems just like yesterday when I first entered college and met my classmates.
I am really glad that I made the decision to go for Fashion Design , because despite all the sleepless nights , rushing assignments and pulling my own hair , I enjoyed myself very much ! (｡´∀｀)ﾉ
My graduation collection is very meaningful for me. Before I started making it , I was thinking " oh gosh can I finish this in 14 weeks ? ". For my main inspiration , it's Antoni Gaudi's Mosaic seen in his architecture : each mosaic piece is cut individually and attached to my garments. （*´▽｀*）
I was a bit stressed out at first because my schedule in June was kinda tight with events and Japanese classes plus I was making new costumes as well along the way but my college has always been my priority. I want to do my best and not regret thinking " ahh I could have done more ".
Last night , I can't sleep even though I'm pretty much done with my garments . ( Or maybe is the durian keeping me awake ) Was very nervous about the presentation today because I'm not sure what would the guest designer feel about my collection. We had a guest fashion designer evaluating our work this time. Thank God I think he seem to like my idea ? It's my first time getting feedback from someone in the industry ~ I'm ready to improve on what I'm lacking in !
Anyways , this isn't the end , it's just a beginning of many things to come. I'm excited ! (´▽`ʃƪ)
